SILHOUETTED
Silhouetted is about the spirit of the woman wearing the clothes, emphasizing the silhouette of the face which plays with the relationship of figure and ground. This layered figure ground ambiguity extended into the deco shapes in the machine knit and pieced deco inspired looks. Margo’s signature multi media approach to print design is shown in the laser cutting, block printing, machine knitting, and piecing to create the garments and accessories in this collection.
